Now the above box is one I just wrapped up for our class starting in a couple of weeks! We'll start with two boxes. Each will be a basic type for beginners like the above. I'll work with a pre printed piece and we'll add to it. It took me around 2 1/2 hours to complete the box so I figure if i allow for 3 hours or a little more then it will all be good! Yeah, I think so........
The beginning piece. I feel such a sense of peace doing this kind of thing. And I hope that I can inspire someone to create beautiful, or not so beautiful things in the future. I can remember moments when I realized the magic of creating. When the hammer in my hand struck the metal earring post. Or when the crayons that I held blended with a supreme magic that spoke to my soul. So many times with painting as with jewelery I have gone through a range of emotions while working on a piece. And so often when I am finished I think to myself...... if only the person who inherits this piece of "me" knew what emotions went into it. It contains my souls imprint . As is the case with all pieces of art .
And so with that I will say goodnight to all of you and wait for my brother, my beautiful brother. And I thank God for the time that we have, may it last for an eternity!
God bless all of you my friends!
Goodnight Wayne
Saschi!

Yeah, your cats are cute :)
Oh...well how does he keep getting infected?
And I know my mom does, she worries, and my dad does too. He just doesn't really do things for him.
He's at the vet right now, dad took him this morning. So he'll be back in a day or two.
I just want him to stop getting sick.
Is it because he's an outside cat? Me and mom are trying to change that but dad is pretty much sabotaging our every attempt.
He keeps letting him out when we tell him not to! It gets on my nerves.
Hi Connie,
Thanks for the comment you left on my blog earlier about rose water. I've posted a reply there twice and each time it's disappeared - very strange, so I'm trying your blog instead!
I’ve never made rosewater, but love it drizzled over fruit salad. There’s a recipe on the BBC website for orange and date salad with rosewater, which sounds really good: http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/orangeanddatesaladwi_82932
You’ve got me intrigued now as to how it could be incorporated into raw desserts – bet it would be great with pistachio nuts and honey! I’ll see what I can come up with and will hopefully have a few recipes to post in a couple of weeks.

Connie, first of all, let me assure you that I feel every bit of the magic and creativity that went into your box (that I am now the lucky owner of!). And the one that you have made for your class is simply stunning! I am so glad you get to see Mike and spend some time with him. Much love to you, my creative pal! xox Pam
PS I am all sorts of inspired to do more mixed media! :))
